The pollutant release and transfer register contains about 780 facilities in Flanders that engage themselves with environmentally hazardous activities. These environmentally hazardous activities lead to emissions in the air or in water, transfers of polluted wastewater or pollutants. Every year the facilities report these data in the Integrated Annual Environmental Report. The facilities are subdivided in different categories (PRTR-activities).
